Ever since I was published in the steampunk anthology Dreams of Steam 2. I have fallen in love with steampunk. Therefore I have decided to organize an event in Vicksburg, MS called The River City Steampunk Fair. Click the following URL to follow this event on Facebook.

About The River City Steampunk Fair:This event is located at The Vicksburg Hotel at 801 Clay Street in the Coral Room in Vicksburg, MS. From 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., come and enjoy panel discussions and the opportunity to step back into the Victorian era. The Coral Room inside The Vicksburg Hotel will be filled with vendors regarding literature, art, jewelry and fashion. For those unfamiliar to what steampunk is imagine Victorian Sci-Fi. Great examples of this genre are, "The Time Machine" and "Around the World in 80 Days". This is also a cosplay event, meaning that all guests are welcome to come in Victorian attire. This is a family friendly event with the goal to raise money for The Westside Theater Foundation.
